Our vibrant history & purpose
The Berkeley Artists Guild was founded in the 1970s with a simple yet profound goal: to provide artists of Berkeley County with inspiring workshops and invaluable learning opportunities. We are incredibly proud to host the 35th annual Old Santee Canal Fine Arts Exhibition, alongside numerous other member art exhibitions throughout the year. Our members thrive on exploring new creative techniques, constantly striving to improve their craft within a supportive environment.

A community that connects
Our monthly meetings are held at Trinity Church in Pinopolis, South Carolina, at 6 PM on the second Wednesday of each month. Pinopolis is a charming pineland village renowned for its active artist community. For the past six years, our guild has celebrated Christmas at the home of artist Katherine Hester, a cherished tradition where we share our artwork and festive cheer. The Berkeley Artists Guild is truly a warm and encouraging community that welcomes every artist.
